Management will do its utmost to ensure that you enjoy your stay at Summerhill. Acceptance of a booking is subject to the following :
DEPOSIT A non-refundable booking deposit of £50stg per rental period (weekend or week) is required to confirm booking. An additional amount of £50 is required as a security deposit which is refunded at end of stay. Customers are liable for all breakages or damage to house during rental period. The house should also be left in a clean, neat and tidy condition.
OUTSTANDING BALANCE The balance of payment must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to rental date. Late payment may result in cancellation.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKING All bookings are subject to written confirmation from Management. If you wish to cancel your bookings please inform us as soon as possible and we will endeavor to re-let the accommodation.
ELECTRICITY AND HEATING All electricity and heating costs are included in rental fee.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES Accommodation will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.
OCCUPATION CAPACITY For insurance purposes the number of persons occupying the accommodation must not exceed the maximum capacity outlined in the description guide of the property. On booking the 2 parties shall agree the numbers of people coming, if on arrivel the numbers exceed the agreed amount then the customer will be required to pay the difference in amount at the rate of £10 per night per person.
BED LINEN Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. If the customer wishes to have the accommodation cleaned during the rental period, a request must be made to Management and a fee will apply.
PETS Pets are not allowed unless a written request has been made and approved by Management. SMOKING At Summerhill we operate a non-smoking policy. Please only smoke outdoors.
AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION Management will endeavor to provide accommodation on the date specified on the booking form. The Company is relieved of liability if accommodation is unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control e.g. damaged property. If this situation occurs Management will seek alternative arrangements for the customer. In the event that this is not possible Management will provide a full refund to the customer and the Company will not be liable for any further claim. No refund will be provided if the customer is asked to leave the accommodation or chooses to leave of their own free will prior to the departure date.
RIGHT TO DECLINE BOOKING Management reserves the right to refuse, alter, terminate or cancel a booking for non-compliance with Terms & Conditions.
LIABILITY Management is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to property (including vehicles, accessories and contents) or occupants, which occurs during the rental period and their time at Summerhill Holiday Home.
TERMINATION OF BOOKING Management reserves the right to terminate a booking before or during the rental period if the behaviour of the customer(s) is likely to endanger the safety of other customers or themselves.
SPECIAL REQUESTS Requests for such items as cots, high chairs etc. must be made at time of booking and Management will endeavor to accommodate these requests.
COMPLAINTS Every care is taken to ensure that the accommodation is presented to the highest standard. Should you encounter a problem, or have cause for complaint, please let us know immediately. Every effort will be made to assist you and to resolve the issue.
ARTICLES LEFT BEHIND Any item left in the accommodation after the rental period will be retained by Management for a period of 30 days. After this they will be given to charity or disposed of.
